Zebra, lion and funky monkey chocolate cupcake toppers on these super easy no-bake cupcakes are made of dark chocolate and white chocolate buttons, sugar sprinkles, chocolate chips and mini chocolate balls. We will soon be adding a video of the making on our Facebook page – stay tuned!
Safari animal toppers are fun to make and they can be used on any cupcakes and cakes. They are also the perfect size for cake pop decorations, similar to the face made on our baby sheep cake pops.
Soft chocolate buttercream works great with the crunchy cocoa pebble treats used in these cupcakes, that actually aren’t real cupcakes. By adding another 100 grams of powdered sugar in the recipe, you will get a more stiff frosting that is better for piping different shapes and textures.
Please note that when refrigerated chocolate buttercream hardens quickly and you should bring them to room temperature 10 minutes before serving.
