Fudgy chocolate brownies with crunchy Oreo pieces and Hershey’s miniatures classic chocolate bars in every bite! These are the ultimate treat brownies!! While warm they are full of bites of melted chocolate which after refrigerating transforms back into solid chocolate bits.

I used the Hershey’s Miniatures classic assortment that contains Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate, Mr. Goodbar and Krackel candy bars. The brownie batter has melted hershey’s milk chocolate and the special dark chocolate and the solid bits are a mix of all of them together with roughly chopped large chunks of Oreos. Sometimes you just need a chunky chocolaty treat!

I don’t really have serving suggestions for these brownies as they are pretty darn good, just the way they are! They aren’t easy to plate while hot due to the overflowing melted chocolate bits but if you manage to lift the cut brownies onto paper doilies, BRAVO! Even a chunky dessert looks cute on pink and white background! 😉

Ingredients
  • 339 grams Hershey's miniatures miniature-sized candy bars
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 grams unsalted butter
  • 105 grams Oreo cookies chopped
  • 125 grams soft brown sugar
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 115 grams all purpose flour sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F) and line a rectangular baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Measure and prepare all the ingredients.
  3. Place butter, sugars and about half of the miniature chocolate bars (wrappers removed) in a sauce pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, vanilla and salt.
  5. Place the sauce pan over medium heat stirring constantly until the mixture has melted, then remove from heat and stir in eggs.
  6. Add flour mixture and mix until incorporated and smooth, then pour into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle with crushed Oreos and place remaining miniature chocolate bars all over the top.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until set to desired consistency. Cut into squares/rectangular pieces and serve warm or cooled.Hershey's Chocolate & Oreo Brownies
